The president of Republic of Rwanda H.E Paul Kagame yesterday visited Tanzania stand in the ongoing World Travel Market in London UK and hails Tanzania Tourist Board and team

Tanzania in general for a wonderful job they are doing in promoting Tanzania as tourist destination.

At the stand the stand the President Rwanda was met by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resourcrs and Tourism Dr. Aloyce Nzuki and the Managing Director of Tanzania Tourist Board Ms Devota Mdachi.

Tanzania is represented by 47 Companies under the coordination of the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) in the ongoing World Travel Market which is the second largest show in the World taking place in London to promote the country as the Best safari destination in Africa.

A delegation of Tanzania in the show which is led by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism Dr Aloyce Nzuki, comprises Institutions from both Public and Private sector. Public sector institutions attending this year show includes Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism,(MNRT), Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), Tanzania National Park (TANAPA), Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), and Zanzibar Commission for Tourism (ZCT). These five Public institutions team up with (42) companies from Private sector to represent Tanzania in this spectacular event which is scheduled to take place from 6th – 8th November, 2016 in excel, London U.K.

Private sector companies includes; Tour and Travel operators, Airlines carriers, Accommodation facilities and conference which are exhibiting under TTB booth number AF140 showcasing the country’s spectacular tourism attractions and services.

In this tourism show Team Tanzania is show casing the tourism services and products which contributed to Destination Tanzania being voted Africa’s Best Safari Country in 2017 by SafariBookings.com the largest online market place for African safari tours which conducted an analysis to determine Africa’s best country. This is the second time Tanzania won the award as the best country for a safari.
